Reclaiming the "Us" in the Everyday
I have always believed that the village we build for our children starts with the two people at the heart of it. The two people who first dreamt of this life together.
But as our family grew, we realized how easily that heart can get buried under the noise of daily life. After having our second child, our time together became less about connection and more about strategizing. We were missing the time we used to have to ourselves, but we were often too exhausted to do anything about it. When organizing a date feels like another chore on the to-do list, it is easy to stay on the couch and scroll.
However, the more we looked into it, the more we felt encouraged. Studies consistently show that the best thing we can do for our children is to prioritize our own relationship. When parents feel connected, the whole family feels that warmth.
I created Between Bedtimes to remove the barriers that stand in the way of that connection. I wanted a way to get back to the fun and the intentionality we were missing without needing extra time, money, or energy. I wanted to reclaim those small pockets of time between the chaos and the sleep to remember why we started this journey together in the first place.
We don't believe that connection should require a suitcase or a triple-figure dinner bill. We believe in the "Quiet Everyday." We believe that a ten-minute conversation on the porch can be more transformative than a dinner out, provided you have the right framework.
Based in Perth, Western Australia, our brand is inspired by the diverse ways we find to stay close. We know that when a couple feels seen and supported, that connection flows through the entire household.
Between Bedtimes is our invitation for you to find your way back to each other, one card at a time.
